Below are five versions of the complete U.S. Election Assistance Commission 2004 Election Day Survey, each one in a different file format. Each of these datafiles was produced as described in 'Improving the Election Day Survey'. Briefly, the datafiles were simply produced by merging all of the state data files into one large database. If you have questions or problems with the use of these datafiles, please email us. The 2004 Election Day Survey data was originally collected by the U.S. Election Assistance Commission.
From 2006, this data was compiled by Sarah Hill. Attached are 3 versions of the database (Excel, Comma-delimited, and Stata) and 2 versions of Data Variables Explanations (Excel and Text).
